What causes myopia (nearsightedness)?

myopia , hyperopia caused mismatch between focal length of natural lens of eye , distance between lens , retina.

both genetically determined.

in teenage years, when children grow, eyeballs grow, too. increases distance lens retina. makes them more nearsighted or less far sighted. (most kids don't realize farsighted because can accommodate out difference while young.) in cases, takes children farsighted emmotropia (neither farsighted nor nearsighted).

can't change more can control how big head grow.

please don't believe myths eye exercises, people sell exercise information.

what causes of myopia? has myopia born it?
there can reduce myopia/astigmatism? i've heard of cases peoples vision improves, due envrionmental factors or genetic factors?
