INTERNET EXPLORER FROZEN?

use internet explorer 9 browsing, when onto home page frozen apart wheel going round , round , round, cannot click on whatsoever.

tried changing home page else i.e. yahoo, google, msn etc. once home page cannot @ all, cannot search find out problem is.

thought pop-up blocker stopping working isn't. having 2 browsers, have had them. there anyway of uninstalling internet explorer 9 , re-installing it.

luckily had mozilla firefox second browser in case ever happened, have been able ask question on mozilla.

want find out why internet explorer not responding @ all.#

have windows 7. dell inspiron.
