How to survive this noise pollution?

sake of kid's school, i've moved part of city road heated high decibel noise. motorbikes mufflers removed, , tricycles faulty engines contribute 98% of pollution. it's continuous thudding staccato.

although locals here adapted it, have developed queer problem - ears pain. literally so. child's sake can't relocate peaceful part of city. can do?

wonder why ears suffer while here fine it. can save ears?
