Why Latin America is less developed then North America if they all were capitalist economies?

because lots of things affect productivity , development beyond binary question of economy capitalist or not (which not binary yes or no ... it's continuum more capitalistic more socialistic).

it's culture, it's political structures , movements, it's legal frameworks , protection of private property, it's education -- these things affect economy, how capital formed, , how productively can utilized. suffice regard economic development, these factors have been more favorable in , canada in latin america.
