Am I the only one from Chicago who HATES this?

meet people on vacation or when travel tell me "chicago" ask neighborhood? have blank on face & bourbonnais. that's 50 miles south of chicago or arlington heights (etc) why can't i'm arlington heights 25 miles north of chicago.
sigh, tell them that's not chicago, it's arlington heights. afraid live in chicago or think live there.
it's exhausting. wish didn't bother me, i'm proud chicago.
else feel way?
