Surround sound hook up?

moved in new apartment. there surround sound speakers on wall- 5 of them. there built in tv unit , coming down upper part of tv cable hook tv , wires i'm guessing surround sound wires... thing i'm assuming wires go tv @ end if them it's wires no plugs plug them in anywhere... need hook up? missing? thanks!!
