tried zebco , omni flex.
use them cheap alternative leaders. main line, work 1 week , you'll have replace. if fish lot ( 3-5 times week) not best choice. these lines deteriorate , lose strength , knot power more it's used. @ around 3 bucks per spool, pay for. stretch on these lines problem can savior. if you're main line , make long cast, trying set hook trying spear fish @ 40 yards frog gig. if have quality line ( low stretch) , use line leader, force on hook off set stretch in leader , means won't reeling in fish's jaw bone. great sea trout, snappers, flounder , such.not great main line on reel. ~good luck catchin'.
