Can i use a motocross helmet for snowboarding?

well, motocross helmets different snowboarding helmets. if going use it, might affect performance. kind of motocross helmet have, way? if it's full face helmet, need not wear it. suggest find snowboarding helmet , wear instead.

i started snowboarding 2 years ago , im getting prety good, , want try new tricks. have normal helmet want use motocross 1 because safer (chances there alot of faceplants).
