Ideas for my art project?

i’m doing crime art project, i’m doing glamorising crime so, example im going skulls covered in sweets or gold ect show how horrible can nice. got idea how crime glamorised in 1920's american time: fbi's , gangsters in suits , cigars, women wearing fur, casino's ect .. want show how maybe portrayed in such positive ways cover horrible truth innocent people's money , lives getting taken away them. far, have 2 ideas, covering skulls in such positive things , photographing female putting on lipstick blood @ end of knife. project can consist of such painting, photography, sketching, printing, sculptures.. also, artists can related project helpful
