Is a 15 watt tube amp louder then a 15 watt transistor amp?

well, yes, , no ... , can seem lot louder. have old vox ac-30 (30 watts) rips tapestry of wall @ full blast. it's beast. , hot rod blues jr. loud too.

there's lot misinformation volume , watts - example 50 watt amp half volume of 100 watt amp. in fact less powerful, you'll need around ten times power double volume.
