I really want to dance ballet but I am too old?

have wanted take ballet lessons. problem is, i'm 14, , feel thats old start. know people start when young 5 or 6, dont know if can start @ age. also, started high school , have busy schedule. tried teaching myself ballet watching videos online, didnt work. should do?
