Help! There is a mouse in my house!!!!! Panicking........?

okay, i'm freaked out. i've set lot of traps, i"m sooooo paranoid. like, keep thinking of paws running on body , face. associate mice diseases, , know it's bit irrational, start crying whenever see one, when it's pet.
morning, when got mouse ran under tiny gap in door (it closed). i've been shaking whole day, , cry , jump every time there slightest noise in house. terrified of walking on floor , having been climbing furniture around.
know of sounds stupid, terrified. don't want see mouse after it's been caught, let alone dispose of it. like, want caught, don't @ same time.
i'm scared eat cupboard in case- i've heard many stories people eating food mice have gotten into- , can't reach fridge without walking across floor , risking mouse running on feet or climbing me...
can do?!!!
