Goofy vs normal surfing?

used surf goofy 5years ago(did not surf then) , started body boarding.i going start surfing again , tough if worth start normal footed now.i tried on skateboard , quite difficult me.do think would better change,or keep on @ goofy?
reason tought of changing because of more right ways left.
