My monitor not detect the PS3?

not every dvi port compatible sort of converter. if monitor has dvi, might not read hdmi conversion @ all, depending on age , features. there might not way it.

other thing might have luck resetting video on ps3. might @ 1080p, monitor isn't compatible with. hold power button down 30 seconds, , try again. should beep 3 times , resets resolution.

i brought new ps3 last week , connect monitor hdmi dvi cable, (lg2041t, max resolution 1600x900, dvi-d) dose not detect ps3. how can play ps3 on lg monitor. , setting need change.
