boyfriend rear-ended 1 week ago @ stop light. got out of vehicle , laid on grass because disoriented. witness called cops , reported accident. cop showed , talked boyfriend. remembered seeing lady in rear-view before impact , wearing white ear buds in ears (distracted driver). lady hit him no found. ended being put on stretcher , taken er. doc said had cervical strain "whiplash" , sent him home pain meds. told followup in 1 week. cop collected statements , found out lady within couple of days. able reach @ residence boyfriends insurance adjuster able track down , demanded insurance information. said sat in car waiting come talk no 1 did left. watched him loaded in ambulance on stretcher , stayed in car. lie because cop went , talked because seemed suspicious. asked doing there , said got done eating , sitting in car. boyfriend in terrible shape. he's throwing , has migraines , can't turn neck. has turn whole body. don't have money dr. , don't know do. there's no dr. around bill on lien. hit mouth on steering wheel during incident , day later half front tooth came out in shower. mortified. self employed , runs own sign making business. has been out of commision week , losing customers. barely made our thanksgiving dinner next day because how pain in. throwing , dilerious whole time @ thanksgiving , wasn't able participate in real conversation. there relatives there hadn't seen in 8 years , couldn't enjoy company , vice versa. also, when got call had been involved in wreck , bein taken hospital told 4 year old daddy got in car wreck , needed in car , go hospital. put hands mouth , said "oh god! daddys dead!" cried whole way there thinking daddy died despite efforts of calming him , saying daddy wasn't dead. didn't relief until got in room , saw daddy okay. car suffered minor visible damage. small dent in bumper. upon inspection jolt of impact broke battery bar holding battery in, ruin fuel pump, crushed can sitting in cup holder, , broke reinforcement bar inside bumper, , ruined leds had under bumper. he's still in pain , trying find way him doctor. entitled kind of pain , suffering? also, case should contact lawyer? appreciated.
