Where to invest for short term?

such short period of 3 months not advisable invest in equity mutual funds unless willing take risk. if risk prone, invest 70% in equity/index funds , remaining 30% in gold funds.
if not willing take risk safe invest funds in fmp or liquid funds of 3 months duration.

i nre , wish invest 2 lac rupees in scheme short term 3 months. please tell me mutual funds open ended , have no exit loads.
