What is wrong with my Internet Explorer?

further yesterday's question (no answers yet) it's not yahoo answers. typing text field in internet explorer (9) on laptop the cursor disappears, field, knows where? typing minimizes this. not.

i'm doing question on desktop pc , it's fine. 1 thing - i've reinstalled on laptop after screwed up. decided install 64 bit version of windows (both 32 , 64 in same package) instead of 32 bit version went first. can have negative effect?

meanwhile i'm doing malware check on laptop. anti virus software active.

os : windows 7 ultimate 100% genuine / legal.
