Do I need to pay back a student loan due to illness? I have two loans, do I need to pay back the first one?

hello
5 years ago reached half way through second year of university in england. unfortunately ms developed , became extremely ill. (i became paralysed down left side). have made full recovery , after choosing more appropriate course , starting on again in 3rd year of university in wales, looking good. querying weather still need pay loan first university went to? 2 loans separate governments permanently moved wales before course started. first loan english gov , current loan welsh gov. there way can out of paying first loan considering due extreme illness?

advice or guidance extremely appreciated.
