If I click on google advertisements on a websites I visit, will the site get paid?

short answer: yes. if google ads adsense, website owner receive portion of advertiser pays google per click.

longer answer - implications: besides website owner whom appreciate, there else involved. advertiser.

if clicking on ad because genuinely interested in advertiser has offer, benefiting website owner , advertiser. (win win)

however, if clicking on ad favor website owner, nothing more taking money advertiser , handing website owner. (win lose)

in second scenario, there longer term implications. google not shy fact don't tolerate "favor" or fraud clicks , suspend website owner's account permanently.

google's interest in providing value advertiser every dollar spend in clicks. (quickly) remove website owner accounts network deliver short of value.

few cents generate website owner favor clicking taken away them...along entire account. , have opposite result wanted offer website owner hard work.

like clicking on google ads or opening them in background tab till read , finish article,,,
