sure hp of zapdos furthest left without accidentally making faint. (in other words make hp bar red , short possible) lower hp, higher chance of success. you'll need lot of patience when trying catch legendary pokemon. zapdos has capture rate of 3 legendary pokemon. catch rate increase if know you're doing.

first inflict status condition. probability of successful catch rate increase 2x if put sleep or freeze it, , 1.5x other condition.

pokeball succession rates depend on situation , type of pokeball itself. pokeball: 1x, great ball: 1.5x, ultra ball: 2x. suggestion have tons of ultra balls, since these have effect. average amount needed 27, since average, you'll need more, save on money.
