How can i convince my mom to let me have a Ball Python?

have been wanting 1 while now, won't budge. there 1 i'm eyeing on craigslist 100$. it's 2 feet long, comes tank, heat lamp, etc. , claimed tame snake never strikes/bites. have 77$ , asked if she'd please pitch in 23$, shes reluctant. she's worried it's going bite me because it's getting new owner, , food expensive. claims eats 1 mouse week. can 6 frozen ones petsmart 11.99, that's 6 weeks of food right there! don't know else tell her. guys got ideas? helpful :)
