feed bowl filled , kept filled day , night, fed mixed parrot or cockatiel /lovebird mix, supply green veg , such broccoli. kale, sweet corn cob, soaked sprouting sunflower seed.

bird eats kernel of seed , leaves husk(shell) unless blow off husk may appear has plenty of food.so why keep bowl filled.as time not matter long has seed 24 hours of day.
