What do you think of CHEVY CAVALIERS?! Your Opinions or storys please!?

i've owned mine 6 years few reliability problems. mine's '01 , believe made improvements them in 2000's v. 90's models. problems i've had mechanically related cooling system (i.e. water pump, radiator, etc.). car 12 years old , i've got on 140,000 miles on it, ridiculous think wouldn't need repair anything. don't know have had yours, nor know if have maintained properly. yes, cheap cars , don't have resale value, lot has how routine maintenance , preventive maintenance on car. i've made several upgrades mine, including rims/tires , upgraded suspension system kyb (japanese) parts. these kinds of improvements make more enjoyable car drive. ride quality above stock cavalier , rides nicer many imports i've driven or ridden in. wouldn't want own stock cav, same thing many economy cars 10 years ago.

far "rattling" @ idle, not have issue cav. me sounds might spark plugs/timing issue. people not think replace plugs , plug wires unless misfires. , can cause bad idle. replaced mine platinum plugs , new wires , idle smooth. use synthetic oil , k&n performance air , oil filters, believe better buying cheapest junk can find put in there. problem many people own cavs not have money maintain them , worse reputation deserve.

have remember these built economy cars not performance cars. while can make upgrades , improvements them , make nice domestic tuner imo, shouldn't expect them perform sports car or luxury car. imo excellent commuter cars can made more enjoyable few upgrades.
