when people think cancun, think hotels , beaches there. there day trips cancun chitchen itza , other lovely places of historical significant. cabo san lucas fantastic place such tourist destination. it's impossible walk around town , enjoy without being bothered vendors selling thinkets or people trying sell timeshares. might consider la paz, place last week. on beach on sea of cortez/gulf of california, has lovely weather, safe, , has lot of mexican culture. unfortunately, don't have lot of experience other areas of mexico can't speak authority. let's assume you've chosen city in mexico visit. next? go site expedia , click on selection trip includes flights , hotel. it's cheaper way. input dates want stay , @ comes up. you'll see many flights , hotels listed expensive more economical. remember, pay for. let's want keep costs down. select lower price hotel @ cabo los patios. stayed there $60 night 2 continental breakfasts included. , include free wifi. it's not on beach bus in front of hotel downtown costs less 50 cents. it's lot of fun ride locals. room had refrigerator , enabled make simple salads enjoyed on patio overlooking lovely pool area. if want have great stay in cabo , money isn't issue, stay @ solmar inclusive. room 2 costs $200 day includes meals , snacks 2 people. it's nice go restaurant dinner , order menu, including wine , cocktails, without worrying cost. it's on pacific ocean , walks on safe beach under moonlight nice friend special experience. if choose la paz, can take aguila bus line cabo $17. it's 3 hour trip through interesting scenery. in la paz, can stay in la concha during recent trip. costs less $100 night 2 american breakfasts, free internet, free use of kayaks, , free shuttle rides , downtown la paz. when @ hotels listed on site expedia, might wish read reviews see other travelers thought of places. luck , have great trip.
