Can i fit a turbo to an early 1600cc Mazda MX5 (NA)?

ray theoretically can turbo internal combustion engine long can fabricate. easy turbo car, main difficulty finding or making exhaust manifold turbo. have experience turbo's , trust me, unless don't plan of keeping car daily driver highly discourage putting turbo on vehicle. engine may last small period of time, unless built motor deteriorate quickly, if not blow up. turbo's people looking hit peak performance vehicles have been built handle extremes created under boost.

i have mazda mx5 - 1989 na series. has stock 1600cc engine , wondered if has experience fitting turbo engine?
