if turtle not this, might have soft shell disease, need more calcium , more uvb lighting (which comes in flouresent bulbs), don't need uva lights (the incandesent bulbs), can @ pet store. remember replace bulbs when spots on them. if turtle either birth deformity or common species, either way fine.
