Places to live near vancouver? Not in the middle of a city!?

hi, when i'm older want live in/near vancouver don't want live in middle of city. have suggestions of places in country side, surrounded trees mountains , beautiful. having said don't want crazy far away people little village nearby ideal , somewhere can access city easily, hours drive or something.
