I jog for 40 minutes , is it good enough ?


that's pretty slow 58 year old female , run 3.1 in under 34 minutes, run 5 day in 57 min. 40 minutes workout though if go closer 60 minutes , gradually increase speed (and endurance).. ran 30 minutes first time on halloween , hour thanksgiving..hoping run 6.2 weekend. anyway burn approximately 100 calories per mile , must use 3500 calories more eat lose 1 lb weight loss more dependent on eat 300 calories per day burning off running. have run 11 times burn calories lose 1 lb.

i 33 year old man, jog 40 minutes day , cover distance of 3.18 miles, weight 178 ibs, want loose 11 ibs in 3 months, slow , how should increase speed?
