I'm 14 and want to be an actress?

if serious wanting act, should start reading every play can hold of, reading books, , going independent theatre club or stage group , learning can. school stuff good, , doesn't much.

nothing taught @ school waste of time – never know going useful actor, , stuff history, geography, science, cooking, maths, etc, come in handy when least expect it. actors need intelligent, able understand loads of subjects, well-read, example able read shakespeare , on. it’s no reading script if can’t understand character , others talking about!

work hard @ school subjects , many grades can can onto college course in drama or performing arts, extras psychology, english, sociology, etc.
need able work on stage camera. singing required, join choir or try afford lessons somehow. dance useful.

it’s idea have other skill can use earn money in between acting jobs – you’ll need it! bar work, office work, shop work – do, ideally train in job can work freelance you’ll able take time off whenever need auditions , occasional paid acting job. make sure enjoy too, you’ll spend more time doing acting! actors don’t more 2 or 3 weeks’ paid acting work year.

looking @ years of hard work, little glamour, terrible rates of pay – if – doing odd jobs pay bills while you’re auditioning acting work. it’s not should considering unless you’re totally passionate acting , can’t imagine doing else. you’ll never famous, or make money, if it’s want, go it. if it’s nice idea because sounds fun , exciting , on, forget it.
