My Ball Python bit me after eating...? Help?

python bit me, , i'm confused!

i've had ball python since february. 3 feet long, rescue. since have had him, when first got him.... has never striked @ me. he's been sweet , mild, , he's been handled lot. we've become great friends, thought. friends , held snake last night, calm , seemed have enjoyed it. today, fed him. went through same process do. take him tank, ask him if he's hungry, put him in feeding tank in other room. knows eats, , he's never striked @ other mouse (and ate moth 1 time, ha). put mouse in, ate it, etc. wait couple hours give him time chill out after meal, before put him in tank. when came take him out, tell in strange mood.... knew going bit, didn't believe it, because i've trusted him. let me put hand around him, , lift him up. stayed stiff. thought alright, wasnt going bite me.... turned head around , latched in!!!! turned, , churned hand, same way mouse, , had me gripped down. moved jaws, , like, ripped hand.

can't believe did it. mean, said, i've trusted snake. now, i'm leery. don't wanna put hand in feeding tank, still looks he's ready bite. he's not in mood. don't want him confused, spending night in feeding tank, because never has. don't want him forget happened , think hand mouse tomorrow when try move him again.

don't don't understand.... can tell me why happen?
