Bach is the greatest composer of all time? Agree? Why?

many reference books, cd booklets, websites stated bach greatest composers of eras/periods , indeed is. no way composer of era can win bach's music.

me, didn't start classical music listening hobby bach. started blue danube waltz, fur elise, moonlight, rite of spring, nutcracker, got alittle tired of them. wanted music moonlight's adagio more of profound , deep music. prayer got answered when found bach; first listened well-tempered clavier teenager , found shining quality in major-key preludes , fugues. in minor-key preludes , fugues, found solace, profundity , great emotional depth. bach came life, never left , became part of life now. cannot live without bach's music now!
