Can u ride 8 ft waves on a fish surfboard?

yes, can ride 8 foot waves on fish. but, based on description of experience level, sense cannot. long board, take lessons , after lot more experience, go overhead waves. in mean time, have fun taking photos of pals riding big stuff. time come.

i have 6'0 grovellor fish , waves tomorrow supposed 4-8. i've never surfed above 4, i'm beginner, okay doing this? have 5'8 shortboard have trouble popping on it.
