I wish i could sing, why do i sound good in the shower lol?

when you're in shower (or car, or other small enclosed space), walls echo voice @ you, creating effect called "reverb." gives richness , tone voice. when don't have cocoon of walls around you, no reverb, voice sounds thin , weak - unless have powerful enough set of lungs bounce sound waves off wall @ of room. professional pa systems have reverb effect built in give speakers , singers same effect in large rooms.

sure, there great singers can "fill room" bare voice alone (those opera training, especially), on whole, don't go comparing voice hear on recording cd. recording studios (and live sound technicians) use particular microphones, amps, effects units, etc., give professional singer's voice tone , timbre wouldn't have if singing in living room.

and horrible out
