first, tell parents don't trombone , rather play guitar. i'm sure they'll understanding can sell trombone , perhaps use of money buy starter guitar. recommendation: don't dirt cheap starter guitar. @ least decent because better learn on higher quality instrument. ($200-$300 range)

so ive had trombone. hat now, , hate school instructor , want convince parent let me quit play guitar. id pay guitar ( adam levin start guitar or somethiin) how convince them?
