A level english literature or english language?

in year 11 , picking level choices. , im freaking confused :p either want study creative writing @ university or media studies. 1 of two, im having mixed advice people levels need there. here's im thinking far 1..media studies
2..sociology
3..psychology
4..spanish(my native tongue it'll easy , im taking one)
5..english language or literature.

want writer of kind- author, journalist, script-writer whatever-haven't figured bit out yet. anyway, need advice who's willing me out!
first, wanna know level makes more sense kind of career path want. want know if universities prefer english lit on lang. also, if wanna know grades im getting a/a* @ moment in english literature , a* in in english literature. also, kinda prefer writing reading im thinking literature might b tedious? anyway, sad- advice useful me! xx
