Will my hockey pants increase in length after they have been broken-in?

got brand new warrior hustler pads got online , when put them on fit except length bit shorter prefer . instead of stopping @ mid/high knee level older, heavily-used tacklas do, these pants stop above knee. besides length these new pants , hate have send them back. pretty stiff right im wondering wether after use them bit , break them in, materials loosen bit , cause pants increase in length bit? used same pants few years , don't recall wether or not stretch out bit or not.
