Why does your nose have to be in the mask during a scuba diving session?

when diving, have equalize air spaces, includes air in mask. if use swimming goggles cover eyes, there no way equalize air space (and feel eyes popping out of head... not comfy , pop blood vessels). therefore have mask covers nose. descend, start feel mask squeeze... is, mask feel tighter on face. release pressure, have breathe out nose. people without realizing it.

remember, don't need mask dive @ all. purpose create space between our eyes , water able focus underwater. otherwise, blurry. has nothing our breathing.
