What would make a good beginner reptile for me?

i've never owned reptile before, i've been looking bearded dragons since hear docile , more playful other lizards. money's not problem, , know bigger tank better, , plan on buying uv/heat lights, calcium, food etc. 1 thing though crickets make me squeamish, , know once adults can live more on veggies on crickets etc can live on pure veggies , worms during lifespan? eat besides that? or there other type of lizard eats more towards vegetables recommend first time owner? prepared commit towards owning one. if think none suit me, feel free so, want hear opinions. thanks!
