Why isn't there clear paint?

have base medium of paint product, yes, varnish, or sealer, or shellac, or polyurethane or urethane, or clear coat, or lacquer, or stain,

so, depending on use, want cover or seal wall without colour, white or other, place clear paint on wall, no primer

in sense, want cover cement wall, or gypsum panels, or wood, or ever wall made of,
issues safety, , being vapour barrier, maybe mold , mildew resistance,

if have wall covered, , want seal paint or art work , type of sealer coating used,

there , you're looking @ waxes or oils , or clear plastics or glass,
