plants' cuticles play simple yet crucial role in helping plants survive. while plants need sunlight produce energy through photosynthesis, need water stay healthy. without waxy cuticle trap moisture inside plant's leaves, sun evaporate plant's moisture, leaving nothing shriveled, dry leaves behind.
