How to raise confidence in driving?

got permit few months ago , taking traffic. today third day of traffic. problem is, feel worse driver in world. instructor makes me tense , i'm not sure wrong. brake before white line, says need closer when don't think i'm not far off. makes me feel less confident am. anxious makes ten times worse. parents expect me drive possible. feel i'm weird since else in traffic doing fine. have 1 day of traffic left, please help!
