i'm considering buying prius because me , family have been scraping pennies put gas in tank these days. moms ford taurus ran out of gas other day , last straw me. dumping around 30 bucks week of our hard earned cash car, , enough enough. don't know hybrids or electric cars want know how many years can out of battery in prius before needs replaced? since i'm looking @ few used 2010 prius' around 37-47k miles on them. low maintenance? kind of gas savings can expect get? need reliable, low cost transportation , forth school.
