should used car. check car fax, don't rely on entirely. drive car , pay careful attention engine, transmission, brakes, , steering. examine body signs of repairs. check paper trail. there proof car has received required oil changes, maintenance, , repairs, if any?

car's mileage average age. if of documentation there, that's good. if there gaps in paper, you'll have judge that. if there's no trail @ all, recommend walk away vehicle. if proceed, have car examined competent mechanic. know condition of tires, belts, hoses, battery, etc. before entering final price negotiations.

i'm purchasing 04 wrx clean exterior / interior con guy said every once in while grinds when shifting 5th. fixable ? , how cost done? should purchase car.
