Bellybutton piercing and swimming help?!?

got bellybutton pierced month , half ago! it's been alright pretty no pain red bump thing next it! think may have been infected fine now! swim , play water polo , im in off season swim season starts in month or 2. wondering if okay continue through swim season , or specific ways care sense swimming every day. should worried about? water polo season starts next summer in 5 ish months. water polo violent , i'm scarred somthing bad happen piercing in water. tips or suggestions? please info appreciated whether personal expierienxe or opinion?! thanks!
