San Diego vs San Francisco?

-

both expensive
both home to/near good/well known colleges
both have plenty of stuff
both near dangerous/crime ridden cities cities (sf= oakland, sd = tijuana)

though sd bit warmer sf thoughout year , said people tend nicer/more laid uptight sf

i've been planning on moving california while. far, i've ruled out los angeles. now, i'm looking @ either san diego, or san francisco. city better? has nicer people, better colleges, climate, etc. thank time, appreciate it!
