line maintenance - scheduled repair work done while aircraft @ gate/apron.
base maintenance - scheduled/unscheduled repair work done while aircraft @ hangar.

if aircraft arrived flight , towed maintenance hanger repairs (windshield replacement , a/c wash - ba5390) overnight , depart next morning, considered line or base maintenance? short maintenance time discount being base maintenance?
