Chest pain when I laugh, cough, and take deep breaths...Help!?

pain in sternum area, , no else on chest. find little strange when sleep on belly, pain comes worse. if sleep on back, pain goes away...sometimes. it's been going on since last month. morning, hurt bad breathe way, throughout day able without sharp pains. later today, playing bf's dog. dog being silly enough make me laugh hard. unfortunately had restrain myself laughing because pain literally shot @ area. haven't seen doc yet because want finish finals week college :(
