Can't make up my mind! Boston, NYC, or Austin?

okay live in south florida , i've lived parents since birth. i'm 25, , need gtfo!! graduate school (going speech pathology :)) looking @ 3 places. boston, nyc, , austin, texas.

thought boston cool, mom said weather depressing. nyc looks appealing because love music , creativity, city must have plethora of, no doubt. , austin, well, best friend going there , thinks great.

opinions please!! let me know pros , cons of favorite city.

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
