Which video card would you recommend?

i'm on tight budget, , have choice of 2 video cards same price, 1 amd radeon hd 6450 1gig ddr3, other xfx nvidia gts250 1gig ddr3 dual dvi. i'm leaning toward amd, has hdmi, play few games (nothing demanding) curious 1 have better performance games play. i'm running asus m2a-vm motherboard x1250 onboard video, , amd 64 x2 6000+ cpu, 4gig ram.
