Ideas for a children's birthday party?

hi it's little way away yet i'm starting plan son's 5th & nephews 8th joint birthday party. attend small school in small village share of friends (school has 60 students) , because both birthday's fall in summer holidays me , sister have said throw them joint party end of july / august people don't forget party wont able remind them @ school gates etc.

have maximum £500 budget, £250.00 per family. going use village hall quite big, has plenty off orp , free use. planning on 50 children give or take few inviting entire school , family friends children. have hall 5 hours (4-9) includes set , clean times. party 3 hours long, 5-8. people have ideas party benefit both 5 year olds , 7/8 year olds. son youngest in class (27th august) , nephew eldest (1st september) majority of people 5 & 7 (a few family friends 3/4)

typical party games pass parcel, musical chairs etc might bit hectic 50 kids!! lol

have part time weekend job , in second year @ university. make £500 month. according pension funds, if pay 10% (£50) month, company double , money government means pay less £50. there different types of funds available, easiest being 'target fund' investment company moves money based on age. there index trackers , other equities/funds. can advise better long time investment.
